More on RU29 Recovery

RU29 reached its destination early on October 17th, and was recovered a few days later as previously posted. During this time period, in addition to the beginnings of barnacles from the travels, fish eggs had formed during its coasting 3 day period.

Glider rested here for 3 days.

The glider is currently being tested to make sure it is ready for the travels ahead, it is currently sitting in a warehouse on the island after it was recovered. There is still 160 days (8-10 months) left for it to travel to reach Sao Paulo. The largest issue right now is that there is no safe place for the glider to be repaired along the way from Ascension to Brazil, thus the glider must be in perfect condition in order to make the journey.
